During the VDI plugin installation, the installation is rolled back and you receive a dialog box from the Zoom Plugin for Citrix Receiver/VMware Horizon Client with the following error message: An error occurred while copying files and the installation could not be completed. Issue: Installing the VDI plugin does not work on Windows Thin Client. To resolve this issue, uninstall the existing plugin and try reinstalling the new VDI Plugin.Check if the currently installed Thin Client version is newer than the one being installed.In standard (not quiet mode) installation, you receive a dialog box from the Zoom Plugin for Citrix Receiver/VMware Horizon Client with the error message: Unable to install because a newer version of the product is already installed. Issue: The installation to a different version does not work. Citrix recommends that our customers not install the Sierra beta in production.The following information can help you troubleshoot and resolve common issues with Citrix Receiver, VMware Horizon Client, or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). If Apple releases a new Sierra beta that causes Receiver for Mac to stop working, there is no guarantee that we will release a fix before the official release of Sierra. Be aware however that Sierra beta is still not a supported platform. Receiver for Mac 12.2 (available August 1, 2016) does not suffer from the SSL issue on Sierra. Citrix has started to fix gaps and areas of incompatibilities with Sierra to ensure our commitment to Zero-day compatibility. Citrix is committed to provide zero-day compatibility for Receiver for Mac when Sierra is generally available.
